Hello

Does anyone have any opinions on either of these flooring types for the buns:

We've moved house, and part of their run is now on the decking (was previously on concrete) which they are happily chewing/trying to rip up :? They were previously down on lino in our old house with no chewing problems at all, however, it was covered in mats and blankets as they tended to slide around on it.

Any input much appreciated :)

I have stable matting in my shed . . . it had wide ridges so works great on ramps for grip. It's similar to this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rubber-Stable-Mats-6ftx4ftx18mm-Stable-matt-inghorse-matting-Equine-flooring-/252204445041?hash=item3ab88e6d71:g:B4QAAOSwv0tVOSg J

Grip-wise, it's great. Good insulation too. Down side is that it does expand a lot in the heat and creates small humps (they disappear again in the cold weather). It also needs to be kept very clean as any trodden on poo's harden and stick and can be a devil to remove. My boys have also done a little chewing on some of the ridges but not too bad.

Great thank you - I'll definitely look into the stable matting :D There's almost too much choice!!
