Rabbit savvy vets in or near Bury, Lancs??

ashleigh vets in whalley range is highly recommended. i'm on the heywood/middleton border and there are no others closer that i know of as being as highly recommended as ashleigh vets.

you could ask mini lop 1 who she uses as she has a more local one and then travels to ashleigh vets at times also

i think ripminnie also travelled to ashleigh vets a few times but had a more local one. she is in rossendale if i remember rightly!

Depends on how far you are willing to travel but Molly Varga is about 45 minutes away at Rutland House in St Helens. She is there on Monday, Thursday and Friday xx

I am not too far from you then! My mum lives on Moss Hall Road.

Thanks all for the suggestions I will look into all of them.

While researching local vets before I realised somebody I knew was a veterinary nurse at one of the surgerys so I messaged her to ask if her surgery performed many neuters on female rabbits and she said yes they do lots of rabbits. She mentioned that with rabbits there is more risk to them while under anasthetic but said the anasthetic they use is very safe.

Hi, I use Shuttleworth vets in Rawtenstall, they are quite good with rabbits, the best near me anyway. For anything unusual or requiring specialist advice I would go to Ashleigh... Just don't go to the one on the Rock in Bury, they are beyond useless when it comes to bunnies :(

Thanks for that tip I will avoid them.

No way!! I like near blackford bridge just off Manc rd

not too far either then :)

another vote here to not use the armac one, the rock, bury. it used to be our closest emergency vet and i dreaded having to go there. not rabbit savvy at all.
