Lopsy and Aboleth update (loads of photos)

Thought it was about time I shared more pictures.

We went on holiday so Matt gave them a load of sugar (hawthorn flowers) before we went.

When we came back they were happy to see him again (well, happy he'd brought food):

They lie down in some odd positions:

Lopsy is also really moulty in ths picture, no wonder he was warm!

Lopsy loves this stool :)

They're much more lovey-dovey since they went to the boarder for their holiday:

It's wet today, but we've been away a few days so they've not been out on the grass, so even Aboleth decided grass was more important than staying dry:

Look at the rain spots on her ears!

Lopsy will stay out in all weathers, including hail... He does have rather long fur though :)

Lovely pics  Yes, I've noticed that flowers and new leaf buds are selected first. They must taste sweeter. I love the picture of the rain-spotted ears :) None of my three will go out in the rain and are not terribly keen on wind either - wimps!

Awww...what a couple of cuties!
I do not understand bunnies who will sit out in the wet. The wee stray bun who's been living under my porch was out during a thunderstorm the other day. The thunder was making me shake so either this wee thing is deaf as a post or just doesn't care!

Funny creatures, rabbits.

Such lovely pictures. Ours sit in the rain but don't look happy about it - even though they have a sheltered area in the run.

Mine are firmly in the not-caring camp! Neither are fussed by loud noises, but Aboleth gets really scared by people on the roof next door and Lopsy thumps when one of the metal gates over the road bangs shut. Weirdos. Aboleth won't usually tolerate it because she's got shorter fur but Lopsy'll get a fully-wet head and still be dry on his body, so will sit out for hours  I'm surprised he hasn't 'caught a cold'! :D Though he does have a bad front foot again and I've told him if there's no continued improvement when I get home today I'm calling the vet...

Beautiful Buns, I have a Black Butterfly Rabbit too, I think thats the correct term anyway so a little biased my end but both are lovely :)

Lopsy and Aboleth, what a cute pair. They look very loved up :)
They are since boarding! Aboleth still humps Lopsy's face if she gets fed up though

lenslady: yes, he's a mongrel but definitely got some butterfly going on! He's not true mirrored though :D He's got a hilarious spotty tummy: when he's stretching up from the stool for hay in the hanging hayrack in the playhouse he's very obvious even in quite dim light :D

Lopsy had hurt his front foot (again) Saturday so I threatened him with the vet Tuesday morning as it had seemingly got worse (it was showing improvement Monday morning) and he was miraculously better Tuesday evening and since... I gave him 48hrs to show improvement the first time and it was better in three days, so he has three days to show improvement in these sorts of situations before he goes to the vets. Unless he's struggling with food, but that's yet to be seen! He's a silly accident prone doofus  Although Aboleth is daft in her own ways too XD

I was talking to the OH about adopting another bunny, but if that one and Aboleth hit it off and exclude Lopsy I would feel bad having to force his retarded moronity on other people  He's lucky he's a cute little sweetheart...!

Lovely photos, and grass! My grass doesn't seem to want to grow atm.
We leave ours for 5 days minimum before letting the bunnies back on :thumb: We make sure it's well-watered (not difficult this week!), aerate it at least twice a year (spring/autumn) and it grows fine :) Getting the little darlings to eat the right bits (i.e. mow it consistently) is the hardest bit!
