Boarding in Hunts/Peterborough/Camb

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend boarding in Huntingdon / Peterborough / Cambridge area? Looking for somewhere I can use when I go away for more than a day or two. I gave 2 giant Conti's so they need space, currently in a 6x4ft shed with a 15ft run. I would provide food. Cost isn't too much of an issue.

Thanks!

I use bunnie boarders in Ely but she mainly deals with indoor rabbits. There was another one but can't remember it's name :(

The Rabbit Residence Rescue near Royston used to take in boarders but I am not sure what is happening there at present as there have been some changes:

The one I would recommend is rather further away - Hop Inn run by Lisa Newton - near Melton Mowbray. But it is really excellent. Lisa is superb with the buns and they all get fresh forage and a cuddle!.

Thanks both. I need somewhere in 2 weeks time and Melton Mowbray is kind of on the way so that may work.

I got them booked in at Hop Inn! Last spot, so was very lucky. It looks like it's just off the A1 which is convenient in this case. I would just like to still know if there is anyone closer than anybody would recommend for the future. Many thanks!

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are going away for about a week in July/Aug and are looking for bunny boardings.
I have seen couple of post highly recommending rabbit residence rescue in Royston, however, they seem very busy and can't quite get back to me yet while I have to make arrangement soon.#
Anyone have any reviews for Heathlands Animal Sanctuary, Royston? Or any other boarding place I could look at?

We have 4 lovely boys who live with a chinchilla, Missi. They enjoy the company of each other and often find them cuddling together. I am hoping I could find good hands who knows them well and can let them stay together.

P.S. I know a lot of people don't recommend housing chinchilla and rabbits together. Somehow they got on very well and Missi is very healthy and energetic and doesn't let the boys make her feel small at all. She makes sure she is heard and understood. XD

I just received a reply from rabbit residence that they cannot them as house rabbits and therefore Missi cannot be with them neither as outdoor environment is not suitable for her. (which I understand and agree)
