I've only just realised, I often mention Pixie in comments but I have never made a post about her or shown the photos.
Pixie was a single maned Lionhead who was sadly put down last summer due to Fly Strike. I carried the guilt of her death with me for months before finally accepting that it was not 100% my fault, when the vet gave her the annual injections she told me that one of the injections protects against fly strike, I remember the conversation, they denied it, there isn't a vaccination against fly strike but that is what she told me regardless of what they admit. If I had known I would have done more to prevent it...
I love Snow Cloud, he is my world but that doesn't mean I have forgotten Pixie or that I don't love her. I really loved her and I always will.
Pixie was 10 weeks old when we brought her home (same age Snow Cloud was when we brought him home in January).
I know it sounds awful but losing Pixie prompted me to do extensive research on rabbits before I felt confident to have another. I just wish that I had done the research originally and I will never forgive myself for that.
I think about Pixie all the time, the same with my Gran and cat Chloe, they can never be forgotten and they will always be loved. Here are lots of photos of my very much missed bunny Pixie.
