Belle & Loki's Thread

I thought it would be nice to create a thread with pictures of my two rabbits, Belle and Loki

Belle is a female Mini Lop. She is two years old on May 13th. Loki was adopted on January 23rd as a friend for her, he was 3/4 months old at the time, I'm not exactly sure on his breed but he is a Lionhead cross. Bonding began between them in February and it's safe to say that after slow introductions and waiting for his hormones to calm down they fell in love with each other and now happily enjoy each other's company.

My bunnies mean an awful lot to me, I love seeing them happy with each other.

Loki is definitely more expressive with his face/ears than Belle is! Can see it in his pictures....

Maybe he is part Nethie? He certainly seems to possess some of the Nethie traits, I find they often have very expressive faces and big attitudes [emoji38]

I love being able to let them explore the whole room. Never could I confine them to a cage. Unfortunately because of Loki's peeing outside the tray, I've only recently been able to give them as much free roam as now...he's not had any accidents, so hopefully this can stay this way! They are so happy and love to be able to binky and hop around the room.

I hope to improve their room in the future so any ideas are welcome!

I originally thought that he was part Nethie but I've also been told his ears are not small enough and his face isn't the right shape to be part Nethie

So he's a bit of a mystery to me, I'm no good with breeds but judging by how fluffy he is, and his little bit of a mane surely he's part Lionhead at least! But he is only small, weighing around 1.06kg (Belle is 1.25kg?).

I know, it's such a fabulous feeling. Before I got my Nethie Storm he was shut into a small hutch all day every day and it was lovely seeing him run around and binky with his new found freedom.

Oh yeah I would definitely say he is part lionhead, I thought maybe Nethie because of the attitude and I thought his face shape looked similar to Storm's, although I don't think he is a full Nethie either. Perhaps they both have the same missing breed![emoji38]

Loki was in the Pets At Home adoption section so didn't have much of a chance to stretch his legs before. Makes me feel so happy that I've been able to give him that now! I couldn't have left him behind after having a cuddle and then putting him back....soon as I got home I fetched my carrier and went back to get him.

I wish I could know what he has in him, but whatever he is, he's beautiful

I do love the look of Nethies and I would love to own one some day.

Yes, I used to run a hamster rescue and still have five hamsters who share the room with the bunnies
