I suppose shooting is 'better' than releasing VHD as they have done in Australia

Three things sicken me about this. Firstly that people can get a *kick* out of killing an animal, any animal. Secondly that they are not expert marksmen, so many won't be shot cleanly, causing pain and a probable slow death. And thirdly, none of the rabbits is going to be used as food.
