Hi,
Many moons ago I had my poorly bun Ginnie who developed snuffles leading to her dying. I went on to get Dairylea from the rabbit rescue who joined my Wilbur. Dairylea was about 4 and I was alarmed to see she had a runny nose and sneezes, I took her back to be checked and the vet reassured me she was fine. Since then she is periodically snotty and sneezy and makes bunged up nose noises when stressed by having medicine but shows none of the other signs Ginnie developed. She eats well, loves her new boyfriend and her runabout system, and looks healthy other than her nose. She has been prescribed Baytril at various times and is currently on day 8 of a 10 day course. There is no change. The vet suggested a chest X-ray next and I'm wondering what this will achieve and what treatment it could lead too. She's nearly seven now and I don't want her stressed and unhappy travelling to the vets. Neither of the boyfriends she has lived with have developed whatever she has.
I did ask about a possible allergy but the vet didn't go anywhere with that idea. I'm looking for suggestions. My heart wants to leave her be.
Thanks
