Young Bun
Hi guys. Some may know I have a new bunny who has permanent weepy eyes. This was due to a bad tooth problem and now scar tissue causes his eyes to weep. He's on eye drops which are helping which is good.
I'm just doing a bit of research and some poeple suggest vasaline can help to stop the skin getting sore around the eye. Now my vet said to keep the area dry so will this make them moist and more sore? Has anyone ever used it before on bunny eyes?
Also he had a tear duct flush and unfortunately it didn't work and they weep a yellowish gunk throughout the day. It's not horrific but I clean his eyes twice a day. Will it never work? Is it worth giving it another go or should I just leave it be?
Finally, if any one knows any rabbit specialist vets around the lincoln area, that would be great!
Thanks everyone
