Depressingly, a German DJ has accepted an "adrenaline challenge" to kill a pet rabbit live on air. A similar thing happened last year in Denmark.

As it's illegal in Germany to kill animals as part of a show, there's a PETA backed petition campaign to try to stop this from happening and, people are asking the German Agriculture Ministry to intervene.

So far 43,006 supporters. Another 6,994 needed to reach 50,000 so please sign the petition:

I believe I read the DJ is making an announcement tomorrow. Let's hope it's possible to stop him from going ahead with it.

someone posted on RWAF page that the bunny was saved by a rescue, as its illegal in Germany, thank goodness its now safe
