Young Bun
Hello!
I'm new to the group and thank everyone for the information I've learned so far - it's been immensely helpful. I'm looking to potentially begin visiting local schools we're affiliated with to help children learn about rabbits. We're in an underserved urban area, and many of the children don't have books in their homes (and likely may never have seen a real rabbit up close). I'm hoping to change that. I am gathering books together that would be suitable for ages 5 to 13 for distribution after my visit. Of course, I love (and always have) Beatrix Potter, and am currently reading Watership Down (wow).
I'm seeking other ideas for fiction stories that show rabbits as main characters (think Tumtum and Nutmeg, but for rabbits).
Anyone have ideas? Thanks so much.
