Pictures of your bunnies!

I'm fairly certain by now that pretty much everyone here loves seeing pictures of each other's bunnies and stories behind how they got them/the bunnies personalities so that it what this thread is for! I would like people to post pictures of their beautiful bunnies with a caption stating their personality or how you came to have them.

This is Storm. He is such a cute little man and makes me laugh at least once a day without fail. He is in love with one of my dogs called Tazzle and frequently flops besides him after running several circles around him and climbing all over him (I even caught him cleaning Tazzle today!). When he is tired he comes up to me and lays by my side for nose rubs and cuddles and will follow me around my bedroom just so he will get some attention from me. He is also very mischievous and always tries to dig at the furniture (my pillows in particularly) and will follow this by peeing on them, which does not impress me so much! I can't complain though as he has yet to be neutered because I only got him just over two weeks ago and had to have his jabs done first as they were much more important.

This is Biscuit. I first got him with his sister (Willow) approximately four months ago and they were my first bunnies ever and it's safe to say I now have an obsession with bunnies because of these little fur babies! He is very cheeky and will eat treats from my hand, despite the fact that he hates being touched in any way, making grooming veryyy difficult. However, whenever I call his name as I am walking up the garden to his huge run that he shares with Willow, he will almost always come bounding up to the gate to greet me.

Lastly is Willow. She is very shy and as a result I don't have a huge amount of pictures of her because she prefers to stay inside of the hutch, despite having a huge, sheltered run that she can charge around in. When she does come out of the hutch it is still hard to take pictures of her on her own though as the only time she stay still long enough is when food is about, and Biscuit is of course also there with her (although it is nice getting pictures of the together). In the morning she will come to the gate of the run to greet me and will also let me stroke her when giving her any sort of food but that is as far as it goes. She has bright blue eyes and photos do her beauty absolutely no justice (not that I can get many of her anyway! ;) ) One of the things that makes me laugh the most about her is that if I do something that she doesn't like she will definitely let me know, stomping her feet and turning her back on me. She is my sassy little lady and that is what makes her so lovable.

Lovely. Thanks for starting this thread. I'm sure people are sick of my bunnies but I love any opportunity to show them off.

Here is my beautiful & intelligent Mouse, she is a sensitive soul. adopted from Camp Nibble in May.

Aww they are beautiful!

I love the one of Storm with his head in a slipper! Lol. Just the kind of thing my two would do too. You've inspired me to update Facebook and here with some more photos :)

We got Peter and Trixie in October from the Blue Cross, and they live in our dining room with an indoor cage as a base, but it's always open. This is their favourite spot (for no apparent reason!) to relax in:

Trixie is quite shy but she loves investigating new things - bags, shoes, chairs to hide under! As she is a REW we think her eyesight isn't too good so she takes a while to explore new places.

Peter is much more confident. He thinks he owns this chair, he will get cross with you if you sit on it as it's his special hay rack access point!! He's so fluffy it's difficult to get the camera to focus on him  but we recently gave him a little haircut, after this photo was taken.

What beautiful bunnies you both have! :) I'd like to introduce Ruby, my Netherland Dwarf. I've had her for nearly a year now. She's got a gentle nature, loves eating bananas and likes to spend time grooming her teddy. What makes me laugh the most is that Ruby is very particular about where certain things live, if i move an object she'll through a fit and throw it back into place! We're moving house soon and once we're settled, i hope to find Ruby a husbun! :D

He absolutely loves that slipper! He always has his head in it and is humping it! 😜
Your bunnies are so fluffy and cute though omg!

She has been with us for 8 lovely months now and is the light of my life. Very much a 'mummy's' girl who loves kisses and on the floor squidges and fuss. Very neat and tidy and fantastically well behaved!

Then there is Francis! He came to us about 2/3 weeks ago as Poppy's chosen husbun from Alice at Windwhistle Warren.

He drives me crazy! The opposite of Poppy he is independent, noisy, messy, annoying and smelly! But he makes Poppy happy and he has such a cute little face!

I have Leo and Saxon who adopted from Fat Fluffs back in October, they are Netherland Dwarfs and are brothers!

This is Saxon....my big fluff ball! He's the first one there when he here's a bag rustle and often has his nose stuck out a window or is following me around to see what's going on! He will happily come and investigate what's going on but if you try and give him a nose rub he runs the other way (unless he's sleepy!!)

This is Leo, he is coming out of himself a lot more now, he used to follow Saxon's lead a lot but he will now wonder off and investigate things on his own. He loves a good nose rub and cuddle and is a lot more chilled out then Saxon!!

I can't believe the difference they have made to my life, I am now officially a 'crazy bunny lady' (I have the mug to prove it that my manager bought me!!)

I love that middle photo of Ruby - professional portrait!

I hadn't realised Poppy is so small :) And I love that Francis is proving that you were spoilt by just having her good behaviour! Lol the things we do for these rabbits.

NewBunnyFan I have definitely turned into the crazy bunny lady as well, I was talking about them in the pub this evening :S

Robin & Darcy

Hi all,

I have had my two buns just under four years now.

Robin (Mini Rex - nearly 6 years old) was bred for showing, but his mum overgroomed him and nipped his tail off, so the breeder gave him to a lady as a pet. Unfortunately the lady then decided to take more buns on (about 20?!) and her landlord caught up with her, so the breeder of Robin took ALL of the buns on alongside the ones she is still breeding for showing. I visited the breeder to choose a rabbit and it was chaos - buns everywhere. As soon as I clapped eyes on Robin and held him I knew he was for me. Although he was two at the time he was nervous and not really used to being handled, but he's lovely now. He also came complete with bald ears because of mites (see pic below!)

Darcy (5 years old Mini Rex x Nethie) I took on from someone who rescued her from a 3ft hutch that she was not allowed out from. She would have kept her, but couldn't bond her to the rabbits she already had and didn't really have room for another hutch.

For Robin and Darcy it was love at first site

Both buns are very friendly (although Robin pretends not to like cuddles) and I love them to pieces.

Darcy

Robin not long after arrival

Robin now

Existing hutch, about to be replaced with insulated three storey 6ft hutch and run (once we've finished building it!) :D
