Too hot??

My rabbits keep chucking their bedding hay down the ramp into the downstairs part. They have fleece blankets and old towels (were nicely folded but they have launched them everywhere) and then I put a layer of straw on top, extra now since the temp drops overnight. But they always, always chuck most of the straw down the ramp to sleep/lay mostly on the towels!! Are they too hot or just being fussy and prefer the towels for warmth and snuggles rather than straw?? I have over the top of the hutch 2 old duvet covers and 2 tarpaulins.

Maybe they are just arranging things how they like it

Rabbits tend to put things where THEY want them, not where WE want them. :roll: I've given up with mine and just let them re-arrange to their hearts content! :lol:

Ahh ok!! That must be the case haha!! Thing is though when they chuck it down the ramp .. Buster tends to use that as his toilet as opposed to the litter tray!! I deep cleaned the hutch today and sprayed everywhere with 50/50 water n vinegar. Hopefully that stops him!!
