I took Flo to my vets for her vaccinations but as she was lifted out of the carrier her head tipped forward and some liquid came out of her nose.
The vet listened to her chest and said she could hear water in her chest. She touched her nose and it was a bit damp. However, the vet said to just keep an eye on her and it should go on its own.
Flo is eating fine, running around, pooping and peeing like normal. I have checked her nose this morning and this evening and it is dry.
I rang a different vet for a second opinion and they said on the phone to keep an eye on her for a couple of days as she's still behaving normally.
Just a bit confused as I'd read online that rabbits don't get colds - it's usually an infection or something? Just not too sure what to do.
We have some Baytril left over from when she had her spay about a month ago. I though maybe using that might aid the recovery? Although there's not loads left, maybe enough for a couple of days if I gave it twice a day.
