Good evening all
I am really sorry to be posing a message like this - I know they're heartbreaking and hard to read.
I have posted the below query on the RU Facebook page also (though I can't see it now)
I have this evening received a message from a work colleague.
Hey hun, sorry to bother you but I am after a bit of advice, my friends circumstances have changed, she has rescued lots of animals over the years, (has 3 dogs, 11 cats, birds, fish and a rabbit! ) her partner has moved out and her teenager has mental health issues.. the rabbit is bring neglected really, spends all day outside and comes in a night, it is incontinent and not seeming happy though is well in itself, just not being given the attention it should have. Is there a specialist rescue centre we could take it to that would be able to look after it at all? Not sure of any places other than woodside xx
I asked her if the bun has seen a vet , age etc and got the below response:
Ah great thanks hun.. he has been checked and did have myxomatosis though vet said he got over it. Bless him, has been through the mill.. he has just had 500 quid spent on him for an ear abscess and respiratory problem... is so friendly xx he is 6 years old xx
Does anyone know of a specialist rescue in the Devon/Cornwall area? I cannot take him as I have an 11 year old incontinent bunny as it is!
Thanks in advance!
