Hi everyone,

My little baby boy is still with us!

My god I've had the day from hell, this morning Harvey had his blood test, everything is back to normal, even all his kidney values. So we still went ahead with his ultrasound.. Here they found Harvey had a large amount of liquid in his tummy, which is very infected. They also saw that his liver didn't look quire right!

They decided to take Harvey straight in for an urgent operation, they opened him up and soon realised that my poor baby had a twisted liver lobe, there is a fancy name for it but basically they have removed this part of his liver and competly washed out as much of the nasty infected liquid they could.

After 2 and half hours, I can honestly say it was hell. Thankfully my boss let me leave, so I made sure I saw him before he went under.

But my little miracle is still with us, the vets said they believe it's been like it for a good few weeks and honestly couldn't believe how he has been. Apparently rabbits with this tend to go downhill very quickly but instead Harvey has been fighting all the way!!

Now it's a case of very closely watching him and hoping and praying the anti-biotic can help clear up his really bad tummy and any other organs that might be affected.

I can't thank you all enough... But he really is my little miracle xxxx
