Young Bun
Hi All we have a new bunnie - he's 10 weeks old he is eating heygates pellets plus some oats and fibre this is a mix the breeder gave us , he's eating lots but doing quite a few "special" poops which he isn't eating ? should I be worried ? he drinks quite a bit too not excessive but a fair bit - he's happy , active, friendly - thank you

Are you in the UK?

Baby rabbits are usually advised to be eating a good high fibre pellet such as Science Selective or Burgess Excel Junior, constant access to a mix of hay including Alfalfa up to 6 months and don't need oats.

The excess cecals (special poops) usually mean the diet is too rich for the rabbit. x
