Rabbit savvy vets in Essex

Does anyone have any recommendations for rabbit savvy/specialist vets in Essex?

I usually use Orchid in Brentwood but he is away at the moment. I'm in Upminster but will travel to get her seen.

Oh I didn't see the thread further down the page! If anyone has any other suggestions on rabbits specialist vets I'd appreciate it as I likely need Jelly seen tomorrow.

Hi, if you know what you need the locums at Orchid can be quite good for giving you more of what William suggested.. that's no use if it's a new problem though :/ I'd maybe try the Vets4Pets from the other thread, at Southend I think..

Could you get to Trinity Vets in Maidstone? Used to go over there regularly from Essex about a 40 minute journey from Upminster I would guess. Used a few in South Essex over the years and not found any worth going back to.

It is 40mins ;)

Just so know for future reference Kavanne, which vet should I not use in Southend? (You can drop me a pm is you don't want to post it publicly).

Thanks for the replies and recommendations, will keep them in mind. I was recommended Lawtons in Romford by the vet I took her to the other day but their rabbit specialist was away this week as well. She's improved now and is back out with the others so will see how she goes but seems back to her usual self.

I've seen Lawton a couple of times on referrals, the guy is an absolute genius. Watching him piece everything together and make a diagnosis is like an art form. I would be very surprised if he'd see a client of another practice without a formal referral though. Glad your little one seems to have improved in any case :D

I've always wanted to go there. It's just a bit too far.
