I second Guy - my bun had an abscess in his lower jaw, which he managed to get rid of. I think he only works Tuesday and Friday now at Watford, but he's fabulous. There is Alan, at Radlett, he's good too.

Do you have a car? That is an important consideration. If you have a car then I would personally say that an extra distance for a good vet is really worth it. Our vet is over an hour away from us but I would not dream of going anywhere else. Ummmm - except one that is 3.5 hours away - I once took a bun there for a second specialist opinion. .

I get someone to take me.Having said that, Medivet Watford is very near public transport and I know many people who've done it on tubes and trains from South London!
