  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Rabbit-friendly vets in London (Fulham)

Marijose

New Kit
Hi all.
First of all, I don't know if this thread should be placed here, but it seemed reasonable to put it here. As I said in the Introductions section a few days ago, I'm from Spain but currently living in London, in Fulham to be precise, and I brought my beloved Zoltan along with me. As I am new here, I don't have any clue about the vets in this area, or if all of them are rabbit-friendly. In Spain I needed to go to an exotics vet, but when I googled "exotics vet" I found nothing, so, is it the same here?
He already needs his myxomatosis vaccine, and a general revision. This situation is freaking me out as I don't have a car, I have to go walking or using public transportation. So I would need a vet which is rather near my home, I don't want to take a very long commute to get there. This city is so noisy (specially the ambulances), that I am worried about him having a heart attack!
Thank you!
(Sorry if my English is bad, I'm not native )

Sorry, I don't live in Fulham & I'm not sure how urgently you need the vets, but I'm more than happy to help if need be

Thanks a lot, I will write them. I'm confident with my English as long as I don't have to speak by phone
