She didn't use the litter tray

I'm probably worrying about nothing but it is very unusual for Molly.

She has pooped and wee'd on the floor. Not just a stray poo or two but a great big pile. Never, ever in the 5 years that we have had her has she done this before.

Nothing has changed, I haven't moved the litter tray or anything. Let's hope it's just a one off.

Maybe Molly's joints are getting a bit stiff.

Yes and/or her hind legs have lost muscle due to her recent illness. A drop sided litter tray may be easier for her to access.

What a brilliant idea I will get one of these for Benji, he is nearly 6 now and has just started to do poos outside of his tray, something which he has never done before, and I was thinking it may be his tray is too high, so this could help, thankyou!

I will definitely try a lower litter tray. I think that one looks great.
