baytril - is it given twice daily?

I picked it up from my local vets and they seemed confused by the email from my specialist. I'm giving doughnut 0.5ml once a day. She's 1.2kg. It seems most people give it to their rabbits twice a day. Just wanted to see if anyone thought this is right. Will call the specialist tomorrow to check. Will probably call tomorrow to check

Thanks it's probably right then. They just seemed so unorganised as they were busy I wasn't instilled with much faith! I just didn't want to drive a long way just to get a regular medicine

Yes even the bayer website says that evidence shows that baytril works on peak concentration so it's normally better given once daily rather than the dose split...even though the safety data sheet says twice daily, presumably because that was done before the further evidence!

Thanks everyone. I won't bother calling. I'll continue to give squeaking her medicine once a day til she stops squeaking!
