Following on from the 'do gerbils smell' thread the other day, I can now introduce my two new arrivals: Rascal and Dexter

(this is the photo from the rescue site - I haven't taken any yet!)



I only belatedly noticed that they kind of match my house rabbits!!

I've never seen a gerbil with 2 colour markings!

Love how they match the bunnies too!

hehe! All clear on the smell front so far!!

They are so sweet - I'm a bit in love with them already!

Ooo, gerbils are epic! You will totally fall for them! I don't know what their current setup is like but gerbils need a tank with deep substrate to burrow right down and make tunnels in. I highly recommend carefresh as a substrate.

I had two schimol gerbils they smelt muskey every now and then but it was a pleasant smell
