what to feed my old bunny

Hiya everyone. Just needing some advice. I have acquired a 6ish year old bunny who hasfront teeth that don't line up but has back teeth. I have been feeding him grated carrot turnip and shredded cabbage until I can get to see the vet. He seems to be managing pellets but isn't interested in hay. I took him in Friday night as he was an unwanted pet of someone in my area. He is a little thin and I was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas what I can feed him.

You could soak his pellets in warm water just to soften them but try not to make them mushy . I hope this helps ��

I had this issue with my previous rabbit, he had bad teeth so wouldn't touch hay, unfortunately as much as I tried he just would not eat it but he would eat grass when out on the grass, not a lot by any means but still ate it!

have you tried fibafirst pellets? it might be a bit easier for him to eat
