Thank you it means a lot.

Roo had gone into kidney failure and had a large tumour in his abdomen. The vet was confident that PTS was the only option. How can he have had something so serious and I didn't notice till now?

I'm so sorry - I know how you feel, I lost my boy unexpectedly yesterday too. He had something nasty in him too and he had been fine, acting completely normal, eating, pooping, his normal self, then this. It was so quick

Sweet dreams Roo, go meet my Rolo at the bridge xxx

I have been looking back at my posts from when I first got Roo. I was blown away when I noticed the date. I introduced him to RU on this very day 7 years ago

Aww poor wee mite. Just looked at your thread and how he came to be with you.

It's a great shock, but he must have felt pretty good until it was his time to go.

Rest in Peace Roo xxxx

if there had been signs, i'm sure you would have seen them. sometimes there just aren't any until it's too late. unfortunately i know this after dealing with eddie's kidney disease and failure last year. he was even functioning on one kidney because the other had shrivelled up. i had no idea

so don't be too hard on yourself. there may have been no signs and he felt well until the moment it all suddenly overpowered him. hugs x
