I took hundreds of photos but narrowed it down a bit :lol: had a great day. Most of the animals have lovely big enclosures, but I also felt incredibly sad for the lone tiger who did nothing but pace back and fourth I refused to take picccies of him. Anyway hope you enjoy them.

I love Whipsnade, it's probably my favourite zoo to go to lovely photos!

Great photos. Whipsnade is only just a short drive from where I live but I've never been.

It may just be the angle of the photo or how he's sitting, but did the cheetah eat all the pies? :lol:.

Brilliant pictures, I love the one of the cheetah licking his lips!

Try not to lose sleep over the tiger, they are solitary and if the other animals are kept really well I'm sure they will be looking at enrichment for the tiger too, but if you're worried you could maybe write them an email suggesting it.

:lol: he does look a bit of a porker doesn't he? Think it was the angle though.

We went to whipsnade last year for the first time, theres two tigers isn't there? there was when we went - they pace when its dinner time :lol: I was surprised by how big it was and how lovely and big the enclosures were - its so big we didn't even get round the whole place!

That's where I work during holidays ^_^ Lovely pictures, thank you for posting!

There are 2 tigers - Botzmann and Anastasia. They were introduced when he first arrived but they didn't get on great so they are kept separately. There was probably a keeper about and they were expecting food. They usually look pretty chilled when I see them.

The rockhopper penguins are new, I haven't seen them yet. Looking forward to it when I go back!
