Wise Old Thumper
Very shocked today as Ian rang me to let me know my Cheyne is a male.
He has this condition hence we all thought he was a she.
Anyone got any experience in this?

Not had any of my Bucks diagnosed with the condition. The birth defect is one that is apparently increasing in humans and no-one seems to know why.

I think this needs to be a sticky. So often people put pics up of their bunnies asking to be sexed. A male bunny could have this. It's getting more common.

I have a boy with this, and also had a former foster bunny who was anatomically malformed, and another boy in the same litter who had undescended testicles. So three of five were maformed genitally- our vets felt it meant the doe had had a trauma at the time the foetuses were developing in this specific area.

But yes, my Flame is a hermaphrodite.

Cheyne came from a mummy who just given birth and the owner hadn't taken daddy out.....
