Wise Old Thumper
I was going to put 'escape from Colditz' but as his latest modifications make it look rather like Colditz I decided not to tempt fate...!
So, Matt came home just before me today and went to see Lopsy to move his bramble and give him a rose twig. He found him sat outside his run, on the carpet where we see to him (the carpet that runs under his run), looking half-smug, half-confused, just like last time (yesterday). Judging by the amount of poo, he'd been out for about 3hrs or so  He'd been without water but had been chomping happily on the hay from the binbag! He was clean though, sort of: he used the top of the slanty binbag, not where the hay was, as his litter tray!
Matt managed to get him back in by picking him up, which he wasn't keen about but didn't complain too much. He didn't go for water straightaway but did after a while.
Here's his activities for the day:
Under the binbag:
So I wiped everything down and checked the hay in the bag: no wee! Then I put some chicken wire round the top of the run, tied it on with wire ties, folded the ends into the puppy pen and put the box and carry case behind so he couldn't jump and flatten it.
So, if he can jump higher than the puppy pen, let's hope he doesn't learn how to this week, before he's back outside!
And here's some pictures of his Steve McQueen-ness:
Having a brush. Not a groomy brush, more of a rubbing about brush
Turns out he's not moulting Here he is, using his claws to grab his fatball feeder so he can eat the hay:
That bramble twig was more than twice the size when we put it in less than 2hrs previous, and that was even post-leaf-eating overnight. He was eating the thorns (he seems to like them!).
And finally: poo! Here's a lovely shot of the difference between 'I can't be bothered to eat hay, so I'm just going to eat all this lovely forage and twigs you've left lying around' (dark poo) and post-jaunt 'Argh, I'm stuck with this hay and nothing else!' golden poos
