Our new raptor...

Wise Old Thumper
Matt's trained Lopsy to be some sort of attack bird, he says:

I'm not convinced, unless whatever's being attacked has food stuck all over it...

I have no idea where he's got this idea from: apart from being weird generally. I mean, look at those muttonchops! No human should have such a fuzzy face...

These photos are actually in reverse order, just for comparison ;P

On the subject of other types of raptor, though, Lopsy was testing the bars of his new run area for weakness all weekend :roll:

:lol: SO CUTE! Sorry the caps are entirely necessary here. I just love the little feets!!! Hugh gets cranky at me when he puts his feets on me because I can't help but fuss them, and he hates having his feets fussed.

:love: Adorable! Amy sometimes sits on my shoulder for no reason and is always holding my hand down with her paw so she can lick it more. And sometimes I put the hamster on my arm and pretend he's an attack hamster.

I'M REALLY SCARED OF LOPSY!!:shock::lol::love:
XD Tee hee! Well, if you happen to be covered in food, I'm sure you've every right to be!

Maybe he wants to audition for the next Jurassic Park movie! :lol:
Aww, I bet he does! We were watching Jurassic Park when he was convalescing downstairs and I was telling him all about the utahraptors :)

Lopsy doesn't mind so much, but he looks at me funny: like cats do when you stroke their feet: "Hey, hey, hey, what's this?! You're stroking my feet?! Weirdo!" He's still pretty fluffy from outside and it's only 8.5°C in his attic so he's maintained a good topcoat, therefore his feet are superfluffy XD

Matt says your hamster has the right idea :roll: :lol:

He's practically a normal-looking bunny there, he's got his head tipped so far back!

Sigh... :roll:

Lopsy found a weakness! He managed to squidge himself into the bit where his ball gets trapped, on the far rear right, and use it as a support to climb up the run and get on the top. Matt was putting the washing out in the back bedroom and heard weird noises from upstairs, so not the normal noises but different ones, and went to investigate. Lopsy was wandering precariously on the run, looking a combination of smug and confused! Matt went to pick him up to put him back down and he made a swift exit via the carpet, as the box had moved a bit. He came down to tell me, went back up with a knife to cut the carpet end off and found him doing it again :roll: Needless to say the offending carpet end has been removed and his run has been remodelled so there are no more acute angles!
