Im trying to source a bale of stalky course hay not the soft light meadow hay that everyone seems to be selling atm,if anyone knows a supplier in the surrey area could they let me know plssss.

I second this If you go for a bale of their 2013 hay rather than 2014 then it's particularly stalky and a firm favourite with my lot.

Also, I think Ings hay from HayforPets is stalky - you could take a look at their website and arrange to have samples delivered.

Thx have ordered 10 kg from timothy hay not sure how big it will be,not even sure how much a conventional bale of hay weighs, im guessing around 10kg im sure they will be happy anyway
I find Ings quite soft but hayforpets Timothy and rye is very stalky!
