Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

So my bunny has a wet nose and runny eye that is sort of loosing fur around it like towards his nose. I am taking him to the vet,but i wanted to hear ya'll's opinions and things. He was a outside rabbit prior to me getting him, and i keep the room warm like 60 degrees or a little higher as its getting cold out and we have horrible windows. i clean his eye and nose daily and he drinks from a water dish. Any thoughts? Thank you. He is 5 months old. Name suggestions please!!!

Mine had the same issues and it ended up being teeth issues. It could also be some infection, but the vet would know better than me.

Poor bunny! I am not a Vet but I would imagine a course of Baytril, maybe, hopefully would clear that up. You need to act on it quickly and good luck. I think he is too young for it to be teeth problems but could be wrong.

This isn't uncommon. Could just be an infection or could be related to dental issues etc. Vet will do a full exam and give you the meds.
Is there any sneezing?

Wet nose and runny eyes could be several things. Make sure your vet checks his teeth at the back (with a scope). If nothing is found it could be tooth roots and the only way of diagnosing this would be via xray. Hopefully it isn't anything to worry about.

How is his eating?

Yes, he sneezes every so often. I thought all of the things that you all have suggested. i also thought that it could be a problem with the nose canal as Holland lops with their noses being breed the way they are,so it could many things, but i am taking him to the vet soon so i will figure it out, oh and i will make sure the vet checks everything.
