Rabbit started nipping other rabbit on ear after spaying

I got my 2 rabbits spayed about 4 weeks ago. They are both 6months old. All went well with the spaying however over the last few days we noticed that one rabbit has started biting the other one's ear. We took her to the vet tbinkibg she mmust've had an injury but was told it was a nip wound. Totally worried now as they were so bonded before the spaying 4 weeks ago. What can have gone wrong ? Is theree anything I can do as I don't really want to separate then unless I really have to. Thanks

Perhaps they are still hormonal. It can sometimes be tricky to bond two does (although people on here have done so). You may have to separate them and rebond on neutral territory once they have become less hormonal (six to eight weeks after spay usually).
