Bunny Treat Bake Off Anyone?

I though for the next Wabbit Wednesday (12th November) it might be fun to have a bit of a bunny treat bake off? I need to make some for Scamp as he's eaten all his!

I thought I'd give you plenty of notice in case you wanted to source ingredients or have a few practice runs. You then need to post final photos along with your recipe by 8pm on the 12th. Some of the Buddies have volunteered to judges and will be rating you on presentation, ingredient choice and creativity. Obviously the judges can't eat them, so you'll also need to submit a rating out of 10 from your bunnies :)

Anyone want to have a go?

Here are some recipes to give you ideas:

If you've got any other favourites please link to them.

Sounds fun although I've never made bunny treats before so am slightly scared. But it's a great idea so yes please!

Oooooo this is right up my street! I make bunny treats but don't really experiment with flavours that much:wave:

I will have a go, we make bunny treats but are currently playing around with ideas to stop them being too fattening but still tasty for bunny.

Obviously the judges can't eat them maybe points for best looking treats/most interesting flavours and we'll have to trust they are edible
I imagine with at least some of them, bakers could describe taste and texture if they're willing to have a nibble!

I wouldn't have a clue how to make edible treats, any recipes or ideas anyone to point me in the right direction ?

I'd like some basic recipes too please! I've never made any but wondered if I could make use of the pellet crumbs at the bottom of the bag...?

Here are a couple I've tried in the past

The dusty bits from the bottom of a food or hay bag would make good ingredients. I've got an almost empty bag of readigrass I've been saving with just the tiny bits in the bottom.

Those links are really helpful - thank you.

I've made mine today as I don't know when I'll get another chance. Just taken photos. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

I'd love to have a go but I've missed both Wabbit Wednesdays so far. I'm awful at doing things to a schedule.
I did actually have a go at week 1 (a mere one week late) but they totally ignored the thing I put in for them

 you can post late, it's still nice to see the pics and get ideas from people.

I'll put a banner up nearer the time for the treats to help remind people. I've got something else for 12th too which will also require a bunny pic.

Just updated the first post with some more details.

Some of the Buddies will be acting as judges and they'll be rating your treats on presentation, ingredients and creativity. You'll need to submit a photo of your treats, your ingredients list and a mark out of 10 from your bunnies on taste.

Did they turn out good? We'll only need one pic for the judging but maybe you could post your step by steps in a separate thread after to help inspire more baking :)

I made Julie's today. These are her favorite of all the ones that I have made before. I took pictures. They don't look the best but seem to be tastiest.
