Hi there - My 9 week old netherland dwarf has done a few poo's today that are different to normal. They look very similar to cecotropes. He must have sat on some as they were squashed in the bottom of his cage, he's also done a couple on the floor. He's doing his usual poos aswell. Yesterday I accidentally left a bag of his food on top of the cage and low and behold when I got home from the school run he had nibbled through the bag and some of the food had poured inside the cage. I'm not sure how much he actually ate before I removed it! He's also part way through transferring over to new pellets. I'm sorry if this is completely normal and I seem like I'm over reacting, we originally got two bunnies but one unfortunately got diarrhoea and is currently back at the breeders until she's better. So I feel like I am on high alert examining all his poops!! He's fine in himself, he's a real cheeky chap and gets up to all sorts of mischief which made me wonder if he had eaten something he shouldn't while out of his cage and if that would change his number twos!!
Thanks for reading and sorry it's so long!!
