Favorite greens?

Just wondering what your bunnies enjoy :) Fussy Mimi loves collard & kale, which I learned aren't good for her, as well she loves cilantro (for a long time she was fine w. this, then it began causing soft poos), sooo bok choy is her fav at the moment.

Which veggies do your bunnies like?

Kale, and lots of it. Our exotics specialists at the Royal Veterinary College Hospital doesn't think that's a particular problem. Bun actually loves all the gassy greens like spring greens, broccoli stalks and pointy and other cabbages. She doesn't seem to suffer from it. Next after kale on the list would be mint, parsley and carrot. I do limit carrot as its so full of sugar. She's a foodie bun who enjoys most bunny friendly veg and herbs we've tried. Other than baby corn, watercress and cucumber.

I usually get an organic "mixed greens" Spring Mix. It has spinach, romaine, minuza, arugula, radicchio, and other baby lettuces. BunBun likes kale and I try everything with him. BunBun is pretty picky and has only recently been interested in fruits and veggies. So the salad mix is my go-to for his veggie needs.

Ohh, that's so good to hear your vet believes kale is safe! That will make my girl's day! ahaha

I'm making a list of new things for her. Broccoli is safe, too? She used to have that and loves it, but for some reason I'd stopped giving it...

Broccoli is safe, as is cauliflower (all parts) and cabbage. Cabbage can cause gas though so be careful with that one. Kale is actually quite good for them, apparently.

My girls loved their spring greens, and all mentioned above but as they have regular bouts of stasis I've cut out all greens from their diet to see if that makes a difference.

Mine get their veg at tea time every day and they get either broccoli, parsley, basil, little bit of curly kale?

I haven't tried them with bok choi yet I'm a bit unsure? Is it just the green leaves at the top yo give them?

Mine have cabbage every day (two leaves each plus some chopped bits sprinkled in their freshly picked grass).

They love most herbs, apples and carrots (a rare treat) and all forage eg brambles, dandelions, apple wood, willow.

They eat hay and pellets at night but waaay prefer grass to hay given the choice.

Hmm, difficult: probably dandelion, then rose, then hawthorn, then bramble. Definitely in that order. But maybe rose only because it doesn't turn up every mealtime, and the same can be said for raspberry leaves, mallow and strawberry leaves...!

Sarah1991, I buy baby bok choy, and break it apart. She tends to only eat the green leafy top :)

Wow, your British bunnies get much fancier food! No willow, hawthorn, etc. here but I will try her w/ some herbs! I believe she liked basil...worst case scenario, I end up finding myself new recipes lol

Will re-introduce broccoli, she'll be happy about that! Thanks!

Mine go mad for parsley and basil, its their favorite I think, I tried mint once and they ran away from it! I think they found the strong smell too much!

Aww!! That was my concern for mint! But then, she does love cilantro...

So far dill's a hit :) Tried some beet greens, a bit hesitant but it's a start, she ate some.
