Rabbit vet suggestions in Merseyside area

Hi

I am considering getting my rabbit spayed as I would like to get her a companion.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any goods vets in the Merseyside area for rabbits? I spoke to my current vet about the risks involved with neutering and they did advise that a rabbit had died during the surgery that week with them. Obviously I know this can happen but just wanted to find out if there are any vets in the area that come recommended for rabbits?

Many thanks

 Not sure which part of Merseyside you are looking at but I got to Hoylake Vets and they are bunny savvy and had one of my girls spayed there about 4 years ago with no problems. She also had a dental a couple of weeks ago and recovered very well.

Ah, that's great many thanks. I'm in central Liverpool but have a car so anywhere in the area is ok

I locum as a small animal vet in the Speke area and send all exotics to Village Vets. They seem to be very professional and good with rabbits.

Hi
I use vets4pets in old swan, megan is a rabbit (and other small animals) specialist. She's also in the walton vets for pets if that easier for you. There's another vet (I can't think of her name :? ) at the old swan branch who is very good with bunnies :thumb:
