Hi, for those who live in leeds would anyone be able to recommend vets please? Possibly moving to the Woodhouse area and thought I best get an idea of good vets first, many thanks

Edit: Also will need to find somewhere to buy good quality hay, does anyone have any recommendations also? Can order online if not thought

Hi,

I use the following vet and have done for longer than I care to tell you!!!

Beechwood Veterinary Group
335 Chapeltown Road
Leeds LS7 3LL

Tel: 0113 2621189
Fax: 0113 2931117

Surgery hours

Monday - Friday: 9am - 12pm, 2pm - 3pm, 4pm - 6pm
Saturday: 9am - 12pm

Vets Neil and Tess are lovely.

They also have a practise in LS15 that has Saturday afternoon and Sunday appointments (which are nor charges out of hours). Out of hours are directed to the Morley emergency vets.

I get hay from:

The Blue Barn Ltd
Pool Road
Pool-in-Wharfedale
Otley
West Yorkshire
LS21 1EG
Helpline: 0113 284 3121

They do free delivery to our area on a Thursday for order over £50

I hope that helps.

Thank you! :thumb: Will have a look at that vets, found one in headlingley (sp?) online which has good reviews, don't know if anyone uses them, called aire veterinary clinic I think it was? and thanks for the hay info

When one of our rabbits, Phyllis, was very ill, our vet in Doncaster sent us to Holly House in Leeds, as they were rabbit specialists. Don't know if they're close to you, as I don't know Leeds that well! However, they were great with us and with Phyllis.

I use Aire vets and have done for years. Natalie is very rabbit savvy (she has buns herself) she has seen my guys through a lot over the years. I recommended her to someone else on here a while ago who was told by her vet her bun had myxi and to put it to sleep. She went to Aire and was told it was syphilis and had it cleared up in a couple of weeks. I thought it could be as we had just treated one of mine for the same thing.

I honestly can't big them up enough.
