Hi,
Looking for some advice. I rescued a heavily pregnant rabbit who had her babies last Friday. So as not to stress her or anything I have left her alone as much as possible just cleaning her wee area quickly as poss and giving her plenty fresh food once a day.
I had a peak in at the babies while she was eating to check them and one of them has what appears to be a growth on its head with some blood. I'm not experienced in nursing rabbits with young at all and I make sure I don't touch the babies as I'd hate for her to turn but now I'm really worried what this could be or that it could get infected. I can't pick it up to check it for fear of her killing it and then don't want to leave it and it to be sufferering and die anyway.
Any advice much appreciated! Thankyou
