Just wondering if I could see your set ups please??? I think I have worked out space to have piggies again, in the lean to next to the bun house.. But I'm intrigued in his you keep yours, whether they are close or apart from each other? Thank you! X

I've not got any pictures of their set ups on my tablet but the buns are outdoors in a shed/aviary enclosure and the piggles are indoors in my kitchen/conservatory in an open-topped C&C enclosure. Will try to take some piccies later.

This is my piggies set up:-

Louie is freerange in the house and freeranges the garden too. The piggies go in a run in the garden and Louie likes going up to them for a visit. The piggies always run over to him when they see him

This is my set up. The piggies have the top & Daphne has the bottom, plus free run of the rest of the room :)

Got some photos now :D. The piggles live indoors in a C&C cage (which looks lovely and clean coz the piggles were in the garden ;))..........

Thank you all very much for your replies. I would cover it with chicken wire anyway, even though it is in my lean-to and very secure. But I've been thinking that I might actually swap the ends around, opoen up the end next to their homne and make it an extra bit of run for the buns. In winter I will want them to have as much room as possible so think that might be a fun extra run for them!

Im building a C&C cage for 2 piggies im adopting in September. Can I ask if that's correx you've used and what the substrate is?Thanks:)

Of course :) Youll love the c&c cages! I find them so much easier to clean! It is correx, I bought the whole lot from candcguineapigcages.co.uk. I got 2 cages and then put the bigger one on top. The substrate I've used is Fitch. I occasionally use fleece with the piggies, but it can be a bit much to wash it all the time :) I love Fitch, I get a massive bag for under £20 & it lasts our (many) cages a couple of months :D One of my piggies was sneezing a lot on the previous substrate& it's helped with that too <3

What are those little green huts? I'm sure my mums piggies would love something like that in their run :)
