He is so squeeable  the one of him holding the chick in his mouth and looking up at you is adorable!

Do you feed him chick/rabbit every day? Or does he have a variety? :D

He has mainly chicks, with a supplement of apples and carrots. Usually 6-8 chicks a day plus 1 apple and a couple of carrots.
Hes had some rabbits in the past but unfortunately the small chest freezer I had some in broke so we lost a load :( So need to do a new order soon. When he has a rabbit he'll have a couple of chicks as a treat the same day.

6-8 a day? I didn't realise they eat so much!

He's very cute, I must admit it wouldn't be my choice of pet but I enjoyed looking at your pics.

He's beautiful .

The chick pic made me sad though, don't think I'll ever be able to have a dog / cat due to their food needs . Rabbits are the perfect pets for me !! :thumb::thumb:

tbh, there needs to be a larger variety to ensure he's getting all the nutrients he needs. similar to how raw fed cats and dogs need a fairly diverse diet. more protein sources are especially important. like with cats, taurine is very important for foxes so you have to be careful that he gets enough of it.
some more kinds of fruits and veggies wouldn't hurt either.

this is a carefully formulated diet that a lot of raw feeders feed since it's easier than creating your own http://www.thepetfox.net/2010/08/fox-food-recipe-maintenance-diet.html

probably get jumped on for this but know I'm not the only one thinking it
this is a rabbit forum. I know lots of other subjects are discussed in gen chat
But..pictures and info of a pet fox and discussions on feeding it rabbit is, in my and many others, opinion, not sutiable for this particular forum

I can see that argument but surely then dogs/cats/hamsters/guinea pigs shouldn't be allowed either?

I was asked to post more photos....I was asked what he was fed on :)
Dogs kill and eat rabbit....should we not allow photos of them either?

I'm more concerned about the guinea pig/indoor cage he appears to be in in the top photo, and in the photos on his Facebook page. :(

Read my reply about that on the other post..... that was what he had as a base from the age of 6-10weeks but he was only ever shut in there for the first 24hours to get used to me.

I've seen people talk about feeding rabbit to their dogs and cats, how's that any different? I'll never understand why exotics are always treated differently like that...

So how many sexual partners you've had, moon cups, mental health issues etc are?

There are plenty of threads which I've felt are inappropriate and I'm sure others have too. Sometimes I feel like people forget this is meant to be a rabbit forum, or even an animal one. Don't get me wrong, I can see why you wouldn't necessarily like it, but P-T has given warnings before about the photographs and you didn't have to look.

I just don't understand why some people deliberately post with the intention of criticising. Constructive criticism is OK in the right context, but it always seems like people are jumping on Peanut toffee. She's explained the reasons behind the photograph that some people find alarming but I, for one, would love to see more of Todd. :)

Probably because her rabbits were rehomed and they were referred to as being "just rabbits" because she wanted more dogs/an exotic. No matter what the species, rehoming animals and filling their spaces isn't responsible pet ownership and I can understand exactly why rescue workers may be more than a bit miffed about it.

I don't really understand why people post only to criticise either...it's not like you have to view the thread if you find it disturbing etc.

I'm personally just amazed you can actually keep foxes as pets! I thought that only happened in Disney films  I also think foxes are beautiful animals, if only they didn't kill rabbits :( Todd is very handsome.
