Don't forget to check when your bunnies need vaccinating!

I think now it's yearly it's easier to forget! Neither of the vets Hopscotch is registered with have sent a reminder unfortunately - maybe as they both know he is registered elsewhere?! (One as a specialist, one as "regular" vet!)

I knew Hopscotch was due in July, but at the weekend I couldn't find the vaccination card. Checked in my phone diary last night and realised his last vet appointment was on 11 July last year.

So job for the afternoon - call my "regular" vet and check how much they are charging - I think last year it was about £70!!! If they are still charging ridiculous money, then it will be off to Andover we go - longer trip but half the price!

I suppose I could find another local vet that does it cheaper, but I don't really want him registered at 3 places!

Good point, I have at last managed to co-ordinate all my Rabbit's vaccinations to be done at the same time. When their schedules were all different I had to rely on post-it notes to remind me who was due what and when. That involved alot of post-it notes !!

Good point! I made the mistake of reading the expiry date on the batch sticker, and not the date of the last vaccination  I ended up 2 months late

Good point. I am really lucky, my vets send out reminders a month in advance and I keep all my veterinary bills and make copies on the PC so it is really easy for me to check the dates and price. My vet have the prices on their website so you could check online too.

Good news - local vets have clearly decided that their ridiculous price was ridiculous! And Hopscotch is booked in for tomorrow afternoon @ £36.40!

I'm gonna be in trouble

£70 is pretty ridiculous! Glad they've reduced it to a much more reasonable rate

Hopscotch says he doesn't want his vaccination, or his claws cutting, thank you very much.

Well I have one very unhappy bunny!

Was funny, a man who was in the waiting room with his cat said "ahh it's okay, they forget all about it when they get home". So I said, "no we'll get home and I'll have a bunny flicking his feet at me and then sulking for the evening!"

What's the first thing he did when I let him out the carrier...? So much flicky feet!!

I will go and make friends in a couple of hours when he's calmed down
