cage/hutch liners

Hi, anyone using cage/hutch liners. Read a bit about them but not sure about them. Our rabbit is in a hutch out side.
We are using news paper, woodshaving & hay.

I would avoid wood shavings as they can cause respiratory problems. I use a thick layer of newspaper and then hay in both litter trays and hutch, and change trays daily. I know other people use different types of bedding so perhaps someone will post on your thread. I haven't actually heard of hutch liners.

I just put thick layers of newspaper in the litter bit with old hay on top.

Are they like cat litter tray liners?

Plastic liners and bunnies is a definite no. Likely they would eat it causing all sorts of problems.

Thick newspaper and hay changed every other day, with fresh hay added daily should be fine.

The liners are fleece liners on eBay. I think I am going to stick with news paper & hay.
