Lovely photos of a gorgeous hamster
I know she's a dwarf hamster but what breed is she?.
She's a lovely colour.
She's a Russian dwarf, a hybrid between a campbells and a winter white (as are all Russian hamsters sold in petshops).
She's very cute, but sadly hybrid aren't really a good idea, they can be prone to a lot of health issues. I got her from the adoption section, she's already been treated for respitory issues before I got her.

She's not scared or aggressive, she really really likes people being there. She runs straight up to me and if I leave the room she sits and waits at the side of the cage for me to come back. She takes food happily, follows my hand around the cage and climbs on my camera... But if she gets near flesh she just nibbles. It's so odd :lol:

She looks sweet, she spent last night trying to figure out how to escape :lol: She's so brave for such a tiny creature.

My dwarf hammy was like that too! Well, before she went completely crazy and started attacking my hand every time I tried to feed her.

Yes they do, I think they can only see a couple of inches ahead of them. My syrian won't walk off things, but Ivy will just dive face first off anything she climbs on :lol: My last russian wouldn't even climb!
