Bald patch

Binky348

New Kit
Hi,

My two bunnies are Binky and Mr Ginge (previously known as Ginny before we realised she is a he)- both neutered males who have been living happily together for over a year.

I came back from holiday last Friday to find Binky has a small bald patch under his left eye. I asked my friend what had happened but she's not sure, only that it appeared last Tuesday. I immediately panicked and took him to the vet. They said nothing to panic about, it's a cut which has caused the fur to fall out. They gave me an antiseptic cream to apply twice a day which i've been doing. The cut looks better but i'm sure that the bald patch is getting bigger. I have to seperate them for a while when i've put the cream on because Mr Ginge tries to lick it off. He also likes to groom Binky on a regular basis.

Should i be worried that the patch is getting bigger one week later?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks :)

Hi,

Thanks very much for your answer! Do you think it would be best to seperate them until the fur grows back? I am reluctant to do so because they always look so sad when they are apart. But I know if it's for the best...
