Should I put less hay in hutch when warm?

Hi

Just about to do the mid week clean out. The bunnies look like they are struggling. I have bought a fan for them and sat it in front of the hutches.

I have ice pods but they don't bother with them.

Anyway usually I put a huge mound of fresh hay in one of the corners of the hutch but just wondered will that add to the heat?
Should I put smaller bundles in but just keep topping it up?

Personally, I'd still give the same amount of hay. Bunnies usually push it all to one side anyway .

I replace the hay from their bedroom every day. It's Dora's job to remove it everyday apparently!

When you put the ice blocks in, make sure they're where your bunnies usually lay but also make sure that the blocks are covered by something, like a few sheets of newspaper otherwise they will simply be too cold and the rabbits probably won't bother with them; they like cool/cold but not actually freezing.
