Kind words from the specialist vet who gave me the bad news

That's nice. I like to think that vets have hearts. It must be quite numbing, because they often see animals who are sick and at the end of life, yet they must all have become vets out of love for, or interest in, living creatures.

Thank you everyone. Sadly Cutie-pie was the first bunny that I had to let go under sedation. All my 4 before her passed away quite suddenly and one very unexpectedly at a vets who said she was fine and ready to bring home. Sadly nearly 5 years ago we did have to let our elderly and very ill cat go.

That is very lovely of them...hope it gives some comfort.

When we lost our family GSD some years ago we got the kindest note I've ever received from a vet with the lovely rainbow bridge poem in it. I've kept it in her memory book ever since and it still makes me cry when I read it.

Such a kind and thoughtful thing for them to do. We question ourselves so much on the decisions we make for our pets. It really helps when the doctor shows such empathy.
Thinking of you. (((((((((hugs))))))))) Hope Bandit is doing okay? xxxx
