Safe or unsafe?

Im trying to find a pine box big enough to convert into a digging box with a lid for my two when they get their new enclosure? Anyone know where I can get something like that?

So far I've found this, which is the closest to what I want > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IKEA-APA-...t=UK_HG_ChildFurniture_RL&hash=item3cdbc525a0

But I don't think the foil and acrylic paint used on the boards will be safe? Anyone have any ideas?

Anyone, 13 people viewed and nobody knows if this is suitable? or has any ideas? Thanks

I don't think it would be safe, If it's for soil I don't know if it would be strong enough anyway :?

I know...I didn't think so. I don't know if I would do soil with it being indoors, I was thinking shredded paper or something like that. I've been looking for a big pine box but everywhere obviously charges a fortune to get them posted.

Ah, sorry didn't realise it was for indoors. No, I wouldn't be wanting a box full of soil and digging rabbits indoors :lol: do you have someone who is handy who could make a box from ply? Or failing that you could use a big plastic box of some sort, sometimes they have ones for recycling with a sort of flap on it, or scooped out bit at the front. http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/10255897/ or you could just use a huge lidded box, and carefully cut a hole in the side of it :thumb:

I guess this could work, I was hoping to create something so the rabbits could get in and dig but NOT shove it all over the sides, if you get my drift? I would perhaps use sand but I would have to see how well the box kept stuff in
