BeatrixPotter
Mama Doe
Posting a pic of her on the tunnelling thread made me look through lots of pics of her so I thought I would share so you can all see just how beautiful she was.
The day we got her. She was supposed to be 8 weeks but knowing what I know now I suspect it was more like 6 weeks.
She was so tiny she fitted into OH's hands.
Mopsy soon grew bigger but not as big as those crazy English Lop ears!
At 4 months old she was bonded with Peter, the easiest of bonds.
Then suddenly at just 6 months old she got very sick and the vet diagnosed diabetes insipidus. One day she just went to sleep and never woke up.
Everything I know about rabbits I have learnt because of Mopsy. She may only have been a part of our family for such a short time but she is always in our hearts. I cant believe 5 years has gone by.
Thanks for looking.
