Oh that's awful :( I'm only round the corner if you ever need me! Do you know what might have caused it? Hopefully he'll stay healthy for a while now!

Pleased he's feeling better. It's awful when there is no reason why they go downhill. I'm always thinking if I do this then Doughnut will stay healthy, then she's ill and try something different. All you can do is get them to the vets quickly.

I hope this is the last of it for you.

Your so right :thumb: I'm constantly conscious of what's best for him but it doesn't always work....he still gets Ill sometimes  hope doughnut is ok ?

The amount of medicines and the medicines change. She's now on 0.5ml metaclop x 2, 0.7ml infracol x 2 then I give her 0.3ml metacam just after her dinner. The specialist didn't think infracol helped but my specialist thinks it does and I certainly do. I don't hear any noises at all now and she seems more full of beans. I keep her out all the time now, no hutch and run at night and I'm sure plenty of grass is helping too. She has cisapride if she gets into difficulty. After returning home and she hadn't eaten, drunk or pooped all day I was in a right state, she was really floppy due to dehydration. Anyway fingers crossed this combination will keep working for her! It's strange when she managed for 6 months just on metaclop. I'm not going to stress about it though, or try not to!

It's finding what works for them, although I've often thought we've cracked it then she goes downhill. I know even when she is constipated to keep feeding her after her meds anyway. I know it seems strange but the chewing action pushes the food along, whereas I had been worried and wanted her to poop first as thought I would make the issue worse. Having a sick bunny is certainly a learning curve.
