Packing for the vets/boarding - what do you pack?

Nena is at the vets again Monday for abscess surgery. She may be staying overnight again.

N&T have stayed at the vets quite a few times and also been boarded a few times. But I always worry that I've forgotten something! So, what do you pack?

So far I've got:

- pellets and fenugreek crunchies
- all their medicine
- some diddy cotton buds to clean out her current open abscess
- cool pad for them both since they'll be inside and it can be warm
- some toys for Tapla
- some fresh veg including coriander which should perk Nena up

I usually also include baby food and recovery food for post op but at the moment I'm nearly out of recovery food, so I'll let them provide it if necessary!

For staying at the vets:-

- their regular food (pellets/veg/hay)
- fresh herbs to tempt to eat after a GA
- any medication that they're on

For staying with the boarder:-

- their regular food
- their regular hay
- litter trays
- lounging trays/beds
and that's about it. Mine don't really play with toys but a cardboard box is often appreciated.
